2010 Awards Presentation

The 2010 Awards Presentation Event was held at VECCI, 486 Albert St, East Melbourne on Monday 8th November. Merran Fyfe presented the awards and was the keynote speaker for the event. Merran was the 2009 recipient of the Lynette Bergin Tourism Fellowship from Tourism Alliance and also presented with the 2009 Tourism Victoria Young Achievers Award. Merran works in the Marketing and Operations role at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Precinct.

2009 Awards Presentation

The 2009 Awards Presentation Event was held at VECCI, 486 Albert St, East Melbourne on the 10th of November. Mrs Lizzie Cokre, Proprietor of the Cape Otway Centre for Conservation Ecology spoke to guests about establishing her business and presented the awards. Mr Damien Tkalec, Executive General Manager Corporate Development at Melbourne Airport also addressed the group on behalf of Melbourne Airport, the Principal sponsor of the awards.

2008 Awards Presentation

The 2008 Awards Presentation Event was held at VECCI, 486 Albert St, East Melbourne on the 10th of November. Mr. Peter Brown, Executive Director of Fifteen Foundation Australia spoke to guests about the philosophy of Fifteen Foundation and presented the awards. Ms Emma Stenhouse, Corporate Communications Manager at Melbourne Airport also addressed the group on behalf of Melbourne Airport, the Principal sponsor of the awards.

The overall winner for the Event was:

Katie Clough - William Angliss Institute

Katie received membership of the Young Tourism Network and a $2000 travel voucher with Flight Centre to use at her choice.

2007 Awards Presentation

The 2007 Awards Presentation Event was held at Bluestone Restaurant Bar, Flinders Lane, Melbourne on the 12th of November, 2007. Mr. Don Richter, Director of Marketing at Tourism Victoria talked to the students and presented the awards. Mr. Thomas Perry, Communications Manager at Melbourne Airport also addressed the group on his career path and the support that Melbourne Airport have for the awards, as Naming Rights Sponsor.
